В некоторых случаях (напр., при рассмотрении споров по Арбитражному регламенту МТП, ICC Rules) стороны лишь называют кандидатуры арбитров (nomination of an arbitrator), а их назначение осуществляется институциональным арбитражным органом (ICC Court of International Arbitration).
